Count Me In — Disaster Response Lodging for verified property owners

What it is
When disaster hits, the crews who come to help — utility-restoration teams, emergency-management and mutual-aid personnel, medical responders — need somewhere to stay near where they're working. Count Me In lets verified owners opt in to be reachable for exactly that. You choose what you share and who can reach you. It is never automatic availability, and you are never listed publicly.
Why it exists in the network
A standing pool of identity-verified owners is the one thing a response organization can't assemble in the middle of an incident. ASTRO builds it in calm weather so the capacity is already there when it's needed. ASTRO is not a party to anything that follows — it makes the introduction and gets out of the way.
How it works
You opt in from your property's Emergency Readiness area and choose what you can offer — billeting (lodging for personnel), staging (space for crews and equipment), or both — plus which kinds of organizations may reach you and how. When a disaster near you is confirmed, ASTRO gives a qualified, approved responder organization a private way to reach you. You talk directly and decide everything. You can pause or withdraw at any time.
What unlocks it
Open to verified owners — free to enroll and free to get verified. It is free for responders too; ASTRO takes nothing on the program. Declining, pausing, or withdrawing is completely neutral — it never affects your standing, your discovery, or anything else in ASTRO.
ASTRO doesn't listen in and doesn't vouch for anyone — always verify a caller by opening ASTRO yourself before you host. Opting in makes you reachable; nothing happens until you choose to respond.
